This course is about the Consumer Protection Act that was signed into law in 2009. In terms of this Act consumers have certain rights and may enforce these rights. To be able to do this, however, they need to understand their rights and the complaints procedures in terms of the Act. This course will serve as an introduction to the Act and offers the learner a broad understanding of the protection of consumers in South Africa.
