OUR GRADUATION CEREMONY
On the 6th of August, we hosted our official Global Youth Graduation ceremony to celebrate our partners and graduates. We were also fortunate enough to host a Q&A with GitLab and hear a commencement speech from Wesley Fredericks, the MD of Red & Yellow.

A scrap store works on the basis of collecting scrap and selling it to the Public to encourage children’s play and creativity. “Something we, as a global nation, are facing at the moment, due to a certain pandemic, is unemployment. A lot of people have lost their been retrenched or lost their jobs, myself included. I feel, the reason I was chosen to be retrenched is that I was “replaceable”. I didn’t have enough skills and experience as some of my peers. I want to ensure that I do everything in my power to ensure I set myself apart from the crowd and have so many skills and so much knowledge that I am one of the biggest assets a future employer could have. I absolutely love learning and exploring uncharted waters. There are so many great institutions that provide great platforms and have many great courses on offer. Unfortunately, they come with a cost, which is to be expected for the value they are providing. I thus can’t partake at the moment due to a lack of income.”
